Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the baking pans by greasing them lightly.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the honey, fresh orange zest, orange juice, and oil until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pans, filling each no more than two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown. Check with a toothpick for doneness.
- Remove from the oven and cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
