  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch Make a slurry with water

Step-by-Step Instructions for Moo Goo Gai Pan
  1. Marinate the chicken by slicing it into thin strips and combining with soy sauce and cornstarch for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or skillet over high heat and stir-fry the marinated chicken for 3-5 minutes until cooked through.
  3. In the same pan, add mushrooms, carrots, and snow peas, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender yet crisp.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and add water chestnuts and sliced green onions, stir to combine.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce, stir well and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately over steamed rice.
