Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Chow Mein
  1. Marinate chicken in a bowl with Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and salt for about 10 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce by mixing chicken broth, Shaoxing wine, oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, white pepper, and sesame oil.
  3. Cook the chow mein noodles in boiling water according to package instructions, drain and rinse.
  4. Stir-fry marinated chicken in oil over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Sauté minced garlic and ginger for 30 seconds in the same skillet.
