  • 0.5 tsp Sesame Oil Can be omitted if allergies arise
  • 3/4 cup Panko Breadcrumbs Replace with regular breadcrumbs if preferred
For Frying
  • 2 cups Canola Oil Essential for frying
For the Dipping Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup Preferably Heinz
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise Preferably Hellmann's
  • 1 tbsp Yogurt Can swap with sour cream or omit
  • 1 tsp Sriracha Adjust to taste for spice

Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Shrimp Balls
  1. Prepare the shrimp mixture by pulsing shrimp in a food processor until paste-like but textured.
  2. Mix in egg white, white wine, shallot, green onions, parsley, cornstarch, ginger, and sesame oil.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 equal balls and let rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Coat each ball with panko breadcrumbs and arrange on a plate.
  5. Prepare the dipping sauce by whisking ketchup, mayonnaise, yogurt, and sriracha until smooth.
  6. Heat canola oil to 350°F and fry balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-2.5 minutes each.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with the dipping sauce.
