  • 3 cups Hash browns frozen, shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded; substitute with pepper jack for heat

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the breakfast sausage, cream cheese, Bisquick, hash browns, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
  3. Take a generous tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball approximately 1½ inches in diameter.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the shaped sausage bites on it, leaving space between each.
  5. Bake the bites for 20-25 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
  6. For an extra crispy finish, turn on the broiler for the last 2-3 minutes of baking.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
