Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Chicken Parmesan
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare three shallow dishes: flour in one, beaten eggs in the second, and a mix of Panko, seasoned breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper in the third.
  3. Pound the chicken to a uniform thickness of about ½ inch and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dredge each piece of chicken in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken for about 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. In a baking dish, layer marinara sauce, top with the browned chicken, and spoon more marinara over the chicken. Finish with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
