Step-By-Step Instructions
- Start by patting the jumbo shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour (or cornstarch) with salt and pepper for seasoning. In a separate bowl, beat one egg until well combined.
- Take each shrimp and dip it first into the beaten egg, then transfer to the seasoned flour mixture, coating thoroughly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes and spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Carefully place the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops of the shrimp with olive oil cooking spray. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- While the shrimp are air frying, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet Thai chili sauce, and Sriracha in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, pour the bang bang sauce over, tossing gently. Garnish with sesame seeds or chopped greens if desired.
