- Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the macaroni and cook until al dente, around 7–8 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Whisk in flour and stir for about 1–2 minutes until a light blonde roux forms. Gradually add milk while whisking, then add cheddar cheese until creamy, about 5 minutes. Season with spices.
- Fold in the drained macaroni until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Unroll crescent roll dough, press seams together, and cut into bone shapes. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Pour mac and cheese into a greased baking dish and layer crescent bone shapes on top. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
