- Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually around 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in 1 cup of tomato sauce, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, and 1 cup of broth. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
