  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion Diced
  • 2 cloves Garlic Fresh minced
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms Sliced; cremini or button
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be a substitute
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the beef into thin strips against the grain and season with salt and pepper. Dredge with gluten-free flour and set aside.
  2. Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and diced onions, cooking until soft and golden brown.
  3. Push the vegetables to the side and add the beef strips, searing for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in beef broth and Dijon mustard, mixing well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. Serve over buttered egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice, garnished with parsley.
