  2. Add 1 cup of chopped celery and ¼ cup of sliced green onions to the melted butter. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until tender and translucent.
  3. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour over the sautéed vegetables, stirring constantly for about 1 minute to thicken.
  4. Gradually add 2 cups of warm milk while whisking continuously until blended and slightly thickened.
