Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, cream cheese, chopped green onions, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Unroll the refrigerated crescent rolls into triangles and keep chilled.
- Spoon filling onto the wide end of each triangle and roll into pillow shape, sealing edges.
- Dip each rolled pillow in melted butter and coat with breadcrumbs. Arrange on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour until bubbly, then add chicken broth and milk while whisking.
- Cook sauce until thickened, then stir in parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning.
