Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drain the firm tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel, pressing gently to remove excess moisture for about 15 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of coconut oil over medium heat until shimmering, about 1-2 minutes. Carefully add the cubed tofu and sauté for approximately 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Whisk together 1 cup of coconut milk, 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tablespoons of soy sauce in a medium bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu in the skillet. Stir gently to coat, and simmer over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Taste and season your Coconut Lime Tofu with salt and pepper as desired before serving hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
