  • 1 unit Lemon, juiced and zested Lime juice and zest can be swapped.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Half-and-half or coconut milk can be used.
For the Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese Nutritional yeast is a vegan alternative.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Consider dairy-free cheese as a substitute.
For Seasoning and Garnish
  • Salt Adjust to your preference.
  • Pepper Adjust to your preference.
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Fresh Parsley Skip if not on hand.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease your baking dish.
  2. Cook linguine or spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. Pour in the white wine or chicken broth to deglaze the skillet, scraping brown bits, and simmer for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add lemon juice, zest, and heavy cream to the skillet, stirring well and bringing to a gentle simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Toss the drained pasta into the skillet with the creamy shrimp mixture, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer the pasta mixture to the greased baking dish, arranging the shrimp over the top.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese evenly over the dish.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
  11. Let rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
