Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, approximately 7-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flaked salmon, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, frozen peas, cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, and seasonings. Mix until well combined.
- Fold the drained egg noodles into the salmon mixture until coated.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and transfer the noodle mixture into it, spreading evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
