Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pour vegetable oil into a heavy-bottomed saucepan, ensuring at least two inches of oil for frying. Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C) over medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine granulated sugar with ground cinnamon until fully mixed. Set it aside for coating after frying.
  3. Open the refrigerated biscuit dough and separate each piece, flattening them into 4-inch rounds on a clean surface.
  4. Take a tablespoon of apple pie filling and place it in the center of each dough round, adding half of a caramel candy on top.
  5. Carefully fold the edges of the dough over the filling, pinching them tightly to seal.
  6. Once the oil is heated, gently place a few bombs in the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove the fried Caramel Apple Pie Bombs from the oil and let them drain on paper towels, then roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Allow the bombs to cool slightly and serve warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of chocolate.
