Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium-sized baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, add the chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and cook for about 5 minutes.
  3. Separate refrigerated biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit to about 4 inches in diameter.
  4. Place 1 tablespoon of cooled apple filling and a piece of caramel in the center of each biscuit round, then pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Arrange bombs seam-side down in the baking dish, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving, enjoy warm with caramel sauce or ice cream.
