- Wash fresh grapes under cool running water and pat them dry. Insert a skewer into each grape and arrange them on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, water, and light corn syrup. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, until it reaches 300°F (149°C).
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in gel food coloring and flavored oils for a marbled effect.
- Dip each skewer of grapes into the warm candy mixture, allowing excess candy to drip back into the saucepan.
- Let the coated grapes cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes or refrigerate for 10 minutes to set the coating.
- Store the hardened candy grapes in an airtight container at room temperature.
