Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, combine equal parts brown sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until boiling and the sugar fully dissolves. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat. Add vanilla extract and optional cinnamon. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Brew two shots of espresso. Let it cool for 1-2 minutes.
  3. In a mason jar, combine cooled espresso and 2 tablespoons of brown sugar syrup. Fill halfway with ice. Secure lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Fill a tall glass with fresh ice. Strain the shaken espresso over the ice and pour oat milk over the top. Stir gently and enjoy.
