Ingredients
  

For the Tacos
  • 8-10 pieces tortillas medium corn or flour
  • 1/2 pound fresh salmon choose sustainable salmon
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder opt for fresh minced garlic if desired
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder adjust to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin consider smoked cumin for flavor
  • salt & pepper to taste
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt or substitute with sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice to taste, fresh juice preferred
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped, or replace with parsley
For the Toppings
  • 1 piece avocado diced
  • iceberg lettuce shredded, to taste
  • lime wedges for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Place the fresh salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bake the salmon for 10-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro to make the sauce.
  5. Prepare toppings by dicing the avocado and shredding the iceberg lettuce.
  6. Once the salmon is cooked, flake it into bite-sized pieces. Assemble the tacos with salmon, sauce, diced avocado, and shredded lettuce.
  7. Serve the tacos garnished with lime wedges to squeeze fresh juice before eating.
