- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook spaghetti until al dente, around 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and sauté mushrooms for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Add 1 tbsp of olive oil and garlic, cooking until fragrant for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in chili flakes and reserved pasta water, simmering for 2-3 minutes.
- Combine spaghetti with the sauce and mushrooms, tossing to coat for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in chopped parsley and sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
